Meet Our Team
Ally developed a passion for horses at a very young age. Her parents enrolled her in weekly riding lessons at local barns on various school ponies, until, after years of begging, she finally purchased her first horse to train in 2003. Since then Ally has worked with several nationally and internationally known trainers and riders to include: Jane Sleeper, international event rider; Kate Chadderton, international event rider; Linda Zang, FEI Judge; Stephen Bradley, Olympic Competitor; Laverne Pendziwiatr; and Maribeth Dunlap. Ally spent three years in the heart of the eventing community managing busy competition barns and out campaigning every weekend before moving to Central Pennsylvania. In 2016, Ally settled in State College, PA where she is determined to uphold the same quality of training and horsemanship in her program as those who have mentored her. Ally formed Lucacelli Equestrian LLC as a high quality training and breeding operation dedicated to producing well mannered, rideable, and willing young horses suited for any discipline.
Emilee joined the team in November 2019, and is our indispensable groom extraordinaire. During the week she is very dedicated to ensuring all of the horses are properly turned out for every ride and that barn cleanliness is up to standard. On weekends she travels to events with us and keeps everyone looking their best and rides running like clockwork. Emilee followed in her mother's footsteps and developed her love of horses at a very young age. After leasing a few horses and taking lessons at multiple barns, she got her own horse when she was eight years old, with whom she has been training and competing with for almost twelve years. While Emilee's main passion lies within the hunter/jumper discipline she has additionally competed in eventing and dressage and has rated up to a C2-HB within the United States Pony Club. Emilee is also a part-time college student and is working towards gaining a degree in Exercise Science and/or Kinesiology.
